We also have the capability to fabricate tight tolerances, meeting your exact and specs and always provide you with a high quality finished product. Welding Services – Tech-Fab offers full MIG, TIG, SAW, TCAW, GMAW and SMAW welding. Our welders are all AWS certified, and our welding processes meet ASME Section VIII Division 1 and ABS standards.
Inspection and Quality Assurance – Ambox provides 100% dimensional inspections, 100% material traceability and NDE inspection for welds. Additional testing services, including load test and pressure/hydro testing are available.
Specialty – after 50 years has established lasting relationships with local vendors that supply “Up to our quality standards ” products and services and have built a strong network to provide finishing and specialty services for our clients. These services include custom machining, wet and epoxy coating, painting, grinding, polishing and several other specialized services you might request.
Materials Selection – Ambox purchases and works with a wide selection of metals and alloy mills and can provide you with custom alloys for your project at the best price and lead time. Some of the common metals and alloys we work with are:
- Stainless steel – all grades, including 304, 316, 321, 17-4 PH, 410 and 416
- Aluminum – all grades, including grades 2014, 2024, 3003, 5052, 6061, 6063 and 7075
- Nickel – all grades, including grades 200, 400, K-500, 600, 601, 625 and 718
- Carbon steel – A36, mild, low, medium, high and ultra-high carbon steel
- Bronze and copper alloys
